MLIS 7210 Academic Libraries class is being taught at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Ga. All students are enrolled in VSU’s Master of Library & Information Science program. The blog posts below have been authored and written by the students of the class.

The class is being taught as an online class where many of the students are not centered just in Georgia, but spread throughout the United States. During the duration of the seven week class, the students will learn the origins of the academic library, and why we need academic librarianship.
